Building and Developing Communities
For this first ever hackers conference in Nepal, we will review how communities grew all over the world during those past 30 years and how each subcommunity has been very influential in its internal and external development. We will also discuss the positive effect of offline and online cybersecurity communities is how it inspires people to learn & creative which contributes to building a local talent pool of skilled engineers leading to new opportunities for emerging regional tech hubs.
Matt Suiche is the founder of the cybersecurity start-up Comae Technologies and top cybersecurity community conference OPCDE (Operation Community Development & Empowerment) which takes place both in UAE and Kenya. Prior to founding Comae,
he was the Co-Founder and Chief Scientist of the California-based application virtualization start-up CloudVolumes which
was acquired by VMware in 2014. In March 2014, Suiche was highlighted as one of the 100 key French developers in a report for French minister Fleur Pellerin.
